New to Canada and set on tech sales: how Anand got an $80K OTE BDR offer
In short
Anand came to the coaching with two problems: he was new to Canada, and he wanted to get into tech sales. He credits small changes to his LinkedIn profile and resume, the mindset training and a cold-call role play, and reports a Business Development Representative offer at $80K OTE plus an annual bonus, with uncapped commission.

How he got an $80k Tech Sales role in Canada
Watch on YouTube (opens in a new tab)Where Anand started
Anand describes his starting point in two parts: he was new to Canada, and he wanted to get into tech sales here.
He found the coaching by going down a rabbit hole of Bani’s LinkedIn posts. It spoke to his exact problem, so he signed up the same weekend.
What changed
The first changes were small ones to his LinkedIn profile and resume. He was surprised by how big a difference they made.
His favourite part of the coaching was the mindset training. He says it changed his perspective and made him more confident speaking in interviews.
Not every final round went his way. One company chose a candidate with the legal-tech background its product needed. The cold-call role play he had practised for that interview still paid off: his next final interview included a cold-call role play too, and the practice helped him structure the call. The interview book from week four helped him deliver his answers with confidence and consistency.
Where the coaching came in
The coaching pieces Anand names are the mindset training, the LinkedIn and resume changes, a cold-call role play and the interview book in week four.
I found that quite surprising that some small tweaks to LinkedIn and you know resume especially made such a big change.
The result
Anand reports a Business Development Representative offer at $80K OTE plus an annual bonus, with uncapped commission. An email saying he had been selected arrived about 10 to 12 days before the offer letter.
His next goal is an Account Executive role within the next one to two years.
