Pratima worked for two years at Kotak Mahindra Bank in India, so she knew how loans are processed and what relationship managers and underwriters do. In Canada she was already working in credit, but not in a bank.
She had been trying to get into a bank for two years. She had a profile on every bank’s portal, and every application came back as a rejection. At one point she deleted her profile completely and started applying again with a new resume.
The part she found hardest was the behavioural questions: she was not able to answer them properly.
What changed
She joined the coaching in December. At the same time she changed her resume to match each job’s requirements, applied, and got an interview call within the same week.
For the behavioural questions, she read the book, watched all the videos and went through old recordings of the weekly calls, where other students shared the problems they had faced and how to answer.
A few days before the real interview she did a mock interview with Bani, and then used that feedback in the interview itself.

The result
After the holidays her interview was scheduled for January, and the offer letter came within a week: a full-time Commercial Banking Testing Analyst role at BMO, paying around $80K as a starting position.
