Aloo beans, dizziness and a job hunt tip

You might be the ripest, juiciest peach in the world, but some people just don’t like peaches.
— Dita Von Teese

The last few days, I was feeling lightheaded and weak.

A few days in, I felt better in the afternoons and then like “my body can’t function” in the evenings.

This posed an interesting problem.

I would tell myself that I would prepare dinner just before dinner time.

But then when that came, I couldn’t get out of my bed.

So, next day, I decided that I’m going to prepare dinner in the afternoon itself when my body would still have energy.

That way, I could eat a home-cooked meal rather than resorting to ordering in or skipping dinner altogether.

Now, think of your job search as a bit like my dinner prep dilemma.

If you’ve been telling yourself that you’ll work on your resume or start applying to jobs after work, only to find that you’re too tired to even begin, you’re not alone.

Often, it’s not just about having free time—it’s about having the energy to give that time purpose.

Here’s something to try: either set aside 30-60 minutes in the morning before you go to work, when your energy is naturally higher, or try Yoga Nidra (you can email me if you want the link to the one that I do) after you come home.

That will restore your energy and you will be able to actually apply to jobs instead of dozing off!

Remember, often times, it’s not about pushing yourself but creating a better system that will enable you to get things done.

Keep Blooming,
Bani Singh
