This is for you if you’re getting job rejection emails

No one is afraid of heights, they’re afraid of falling down.
— Kurt Cobain

When I arrived back in Canada recently, I saw that the one plant in my home—gifted to me by my brother on my birthday—wasn’t looking too great.

All the leaves were dry, the soil felt parched, and it just seemed… lifeless.

But because it’s special to me, I decided to pour a bit of water into its soil anyway.

To my surprise, within two days, fresh, green leaves started sprouting up! 🌿

That tiny moment reminded me of something we often forget: resilience can show up when we least expect it, and sometimes it just needs a little care to make a comeback.

If you’re in your job hunt phase, maybe you’ve felt a bit like my plant looked—worn out, with nothing much left to give.

Rejection after rejection might be making you feel drained, like your efforts aren’t going anywhere.

But here’s what you can lean: resilience is a quiet strength, and progress often happens beneath the surface, even when you can’t see it.

Each small effort you make—every job application, networking conversation, skill-building moment—is like a drop of water that, eventually, can bring new growth.

If you’re feeling worn out, I hope this story reminds you to keep going.

As long as you are putting in the work, your growth is happening in the background.

All it takes is patience and faith to see your efforts translate into results.

Remember, you just need 1 offer letter, so even if all others are rejections, it’s fine!

Keep Blooming,
Bani Singh
