You should be scared (must read for an immigrant)
“You’ve got to get up every morning with determination if you’re going to go to bed with satisfaction.”
At the age of 15, you must have had dreams.
The dreams that you would turn into reality when you grow up.
It could have been as simple as…
Buying a remote-controlled car or a fancy barbie doll set.
Brands that your parents couldn’t afford.
Eating at a 5-star restaurant.
Or as ambitious as…
Travelling the world.
Retiring your parents.
Living at a fancy place in a nice area.
And you would have envisioned all this happening at some point in your 20s.
Now that you're in your 20s or early 30s, how many of your dreams have come true?
Or are you still living in the hope that the future would be better?
You think next year would be better.
But then the next year comes and hardly anything changes.
Then 3 years pass by and you’re still stuck.
These 3 years turn into 5 years and now your dreams seem so beyond your reach.
Are you in any of these stages?
1, 3, 5 years of waiting for things to change?
Does this give rise to a pit in your stomach?
It should.
Because sometimes in life, we need to be scared.
The feeling gives way to a change.
Makes you realize that if nothing changes, nothing will change.
✅ The sooner you realize this, the better your life will be.
✅ Your parents will be able to live their old age in peace and abundance.
✅ You won’t have to bear the stress of living from pay-cheque to pay-cheque.
Don’t wait for Jan to change because the best time to do that is today.
Keep Blooming,
