The superpower that will get you your field job (you already have it)!
“Imagination is more important than knowledge.”
I was blown away when I read that even identical twins don’t have the same fingerprints!
Think about that…
Out of all the billions of people on this planet, no one else has your exact set of prints.
No once can be you and that’s your superpower!
Just like your fingerprints, your strengths, struggles, and dreams are yours alone.
But let’s be honest—how often do you actually embrace that?
Instead, you might have fallen into the trap of comparison, resulting in you feeling under-confident and conscious of your flaws.
But what would you think if…
➡️ Sachin Tendulkar lost his self-confidence thinking he can’t paint like M.F. Hussain
➡️ M.F. Hussain got jealous that he can’t play cricket like Sachin.
Would that make sense?
Absolutely not, right?
So, why do you compare yourself to others with different (not better) skillsets and feel small?
The famous quote says it best: “Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.”
Now, what if that fish realized it wasn’t meant to climb trees?
What if it understood that its real genius was in the water, where it could swim effortlessly, gracefully, and powerfully?
Your life is like that.
You have your own element, your own genius, and your own path to follow.
Maybe 2 friends of yours want to become Business Analysts. Don’t get swayed by that!
Look within and align your career to your strengths. If you are not good with numbers, that doesn’t make you less than them, just different.
What if you are great at understanding the psychology of humans!
You would be a great fit in marketing.
I hope you got 3 lessons out of this newsletter:
➡️ Comparison is the thief of joy.
➡️ If you’re not good at xyz, that doesn’t make you an inferior being.
➡️ Recognizing your gift and paving your life in accordance is the ultimate blessing.
Your only competition is who you were yesterday.
So stop trying to climb trees if you’re meant to swim.
Keep Blooming,
Bani Singh
